This site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., USA). When you visit it, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the page you requested, which is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. Visitor statistics
I use GoatCounter to count how many people read each page. GoatCounter doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t store IP addresses or any other data that identifies you. It records the page, the referring site, browser, screen size and country, all in aggregate. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing which content is useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Fonts and images
All fonts, scripts and images are served from this domain. No content is loaded from third parties such as Google Fonts or CDNs.
External links
Links to other websites (GitHub, LinkedIn, social share buttons…) are plain links. Nothing is sent to those sites until you click one, and from then on their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict processing of your data, the right to data portability and the right to object. Since this site doesn’t store personal data about you, there is usually nothing to hand over, but feel free to email me. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection.
